UBS Group AG is the largest Swiss financial holding company providing a wide range of financial services worldwide. The bank's place of incorporation and head office location is Zurich.
In addition to Private Banking, UBS provides private, corporate and institutional clients with wealth management, asset management and investment banking services with international services. UBS manages the largest amount of private capital in the world, accounting for approximately half of the world's billionaires among its clients.
UBS was founded in 1862 as the Bank of Winterthur with the arrival of the Swiss banking industry. During the 1890s, the Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC) was founded, forming a syndicate of private banks that expanded its activities, relying on Switzerland's international neutrality. After decades of market competition between SBC and UBS, they merged in 1998 to form a single company known exclusively as "UBS".
In 2011, the Financial Stability Board, established by the G20 countries, listed UBS as one of the world's 29 systemically important banks. Based on this decision, UBS is subject to a special control regime and has to meet stricter criteria for equity capital.
In 2014, the transformation of UBS AG into UBS Group AG Holding Company began, due to the need to comply with new Swiss banking regulations designed to increase the stability and resilience to crises of the banking system. The restructuring of UBS was completed in 2016.

UBS Group tests
The questions are very similar to what I encountered on the real test, and the explanations provided for each question really helped me understand the concepts. I highly recommend this website to anyone preparing for an aptitude test.

Revolut
Revolut ops role had a logical test. Did the inductive and diagrammatic ones here for a week. Passed first go. Decent price too.
Chiara
Good. Sometimes the explanation is a bit short for the harder questions but you can usually work it out from the steps given.

DB numerical
Deutsche Bank numerical test passed. The practice tests here are a close match in difficulty and the timer got me used to the pace. Reports after each test are detailed.
Sana

How the company hires, which tests to expect, how they are scored and how to prepare for them.
UBS Group hires in five stages, and the online tests are the third. Two more stages follow for the people who get through.
The tests are the one stage with nobody on the other side: a score decides who goes through. They are also the one stage you can rehearse beforehand, which is what the rest of this page is for.
What happens at each stage, the interviews and the assessment centre included, is on our page about the UBS Group recruitment process.

Expect a numerical and a verbal reasoning test: they are the pair most large employers set. Many add a logical test, a situational judgement test or a personality questionnaire, and technical roles often bring a mechanical test.
We do not know the exact set UBS Group will send you: it changes with the role you applied for, and from one intake to the next. Your invitation email names each test and its publisher, so read it before you start practising. Our six packages cover every one of these kinds, and our page about UBS Group psychometric tests goes through each, the personality questionnaire included.

Your raw score is turned into a percentile: your place among everyone who has taken that test. A percentile of 80 means you did better than 80 in every 100 candidates in the comparison group. Employers rarely publish the percentile they cut at, and we do not know the one UBS Group uses.
Because the scale is relative, a couple more right answers near the middle of the group move you a long way up it. Our report gives you a percentile after every practice test, so you can watch yours climb.

Take as many practice tests as you can, and change the settings as you go. Start with the solutions showing, so every question you miss is explained on the spot.
Then switch the timer on, take away the option to skip, and add negative marking, so a wrong guess costs you a mark. After a few tests like that, the real UBS Group test is one more run of something you have already done.

Most likely a numerical and a verbal reasoning test, the pair most large employers set. Some roles add a logical test, a situational judgement test or a personality questionnaire. We do not know the exact set at UBS Group, so go by your invitation email, which names each test and its publisher.
No. Real test questions are confidential and drawn from large banks, so nobody can give you the actual paper. Ours are written in the same formats, with the same kinds of question and similar time limits, which is what makes the real one feel familiar.
Yes. Numerical Reasoning Test 1 has 11 questions and a 20-minute limit, with solutions and a full report, and you can take it without an account.
Part of the way in: they are stage 3 of 5. The invitation usually arrives by email with a deadline a few days away, and you sit the tests at home.

As many as you can fit in before the real one. What matters is how you take them: timed, and with the solution read for every question you miss.
