Does MARS use logical reasoning tests?
We do not have a list of the tests MARS sets. A logical test is a common third test, after the numerical and the verbal one. It is made of shapes only, with nothing to read and nothing to calculate.
What the MARS hiring process does have is a stage of online tests: it is stage 3 of 5. The email that invites you to it names each test, so read it before you choose what to practise. All five stages are on our page about MARS.

Which logical test format will MARS use?
This test goes by several names. What one publisher calls logical reasoning, another calls inductive, abstract or diagrammatic, and the questions are much alike. We do not know which publisher MARS uses, so look for any of those names in your invitation.
Ours do not adapt: every test is a set of questions fixed in advance, which you can take with the timer or without.

How do you practise for a logical test at MARS?
Go through the figures one feature at a time: where a shape is, which way it points, how many there are, what it is, how dark it is. Put the rule into words before you look at the answers.

No. Deductive tests are made of words, not shapes: you are given a few statements and asked what has to be true if they are. Our logical package does not cover them.
That depends on the test, and we do not know which one MARS uses. Talent Q gives each question its own time limit and does not let you return to it. Our practice tests can be taken both ways.
